Purpose of the service
Hostabye is an independent automation service that, when a visitor rings a Ring intercom connected by the user, triggers the door opening according to the rules set by the user (always-on or time slots). The service connects to the user's Ring account with their consent and never stores their password.

All elements of the site (text, interface, the Hostabye logo, code) are protected. Any unauthorised reproduction is prohibited. Third-party trademarks mentioned (in particular Ring and Amazon) belong to their respective owners.
Independence from Ring / Amazon
Hostabye is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ring LLC or Amazon. "Ring" is a registered trademark of Amazon. Hostabye interfaces with the user's Ring account at the user's express request.
Liability
Hostabye relies on third-party services (in particular Ring's infrastructure) over which the company has no control. If those services are unavailable, automatic opening may be temporarily interrupted. See the Terms of Service for liability limitations.
